The safest place for your team's information collects less of it.
FlagCoach was designed around one idea: a coaching app should know as little about a child as it can and still help you coach them.
Adults only.
Players are entries on your roster, never accounts. Parents don't need one either. Everyone who can see your team is an adult you invited.
No private messaging. Ever.
Safe Sport guidance keeps guardians on every electronic message and rules out private coach-to-athlete messaging. So FlagCoach has no messaging at all — you copy an announcement to the tools your league already uses.
Sensitive details are locked away.
Last names, birthdays, guardian contacts and medical information are stored separately from everything else, opened only with permission, and every access is logged.
First names and jersey numbers.
The screens you use every day identify players by first name and jersey number — nothing more.
Photos only with recorded consent.
The photo upload stays switched off until consent is on record, and withdrawing consent hides the photos straight away.
No player data where it doesn't belong.
FlagCoach never puts player details into AI prompts, web addresses, error reports or analytics.
Permissions the database enforces.
Who can see what is enforced by the database itself, not only by the screen. The head coach decides what assistants can see, and a team manager never sees private evaluations.
A lost phone is not a lost roster.
Sign a lost device out from anywhere, and the app locks itself when it sits idle.
No ads. No selling data. No rankings.
No advertising, no selling or sharing player information, no public player search, and no leaderboards comparing children.
